Vitality Coffee: a light, sparkly lift—made the hard way

I wanted a coffee you could sip and still feel good. Vitality Coffee blends smooth Arabica with Gunpowder green tea, lightly sweetened with organic raw sugar and rounded with cocoa. We ferment it with a living kombucha starter for natural sparkle and a clean finish. The result is bold yet bright—coffee warmth, a hint of chocolate, and a refreshing effervescence that sits well with food.

This was the hardest drink I’ve ever built. I tested origins and roast curves for months to balance coffee depth with the tea’s lift. The goal: flavour first, no syrupy aftertaste, and a bottle you can enjoy daily. I reach for it on focus days or before leg day; on low-caffeine days I swap to our fruit flavours. As a rule of thumb, I avoid caffeine in the six hours before bed so sleep stays solid—timing matters for many people.

Under the hood, our kombucha-style fermentation introduces live cultures. Keep bottles cold to help preserve viability; small-batch and unpasteurised is how we keep the character intact. Live counts vary with time and storage, and we keep the language supportive—think “may support gut health,” not cures.

The green tea side brings polyphenols (catechins)—compounds linked with antioxidant activity that can help defend against oxidative stress in the body. Evidence in humans varies by dose and study design, but systematic reviews of randomised trials suggest green tea can influence markers of antioxidant status and inflammation. That’s why I pair it with a light, crisp profile you’ll actually drink.

Energy-wise, the combo of caffeine + L-theanine is a favourite of mine. Research shows this pairing can improve attention while feeling calmer and less jittery than caffeine alone—a good fit for clean, steady focus. Your response will be individual, so start low and see how you feel.

A quick note on Gunpowder green tea. It’s a classic Chinese style with leaves rolled into tight pellets; how you brew it (leaf amount, time, temperature) changes the caffeine you extract—stronger steeps can mean more. In general, an 8-oz green tea sits roughly in the ~30–50 mg range, while coffee is typically higher; Vitality Coffee blends both for a moderate lift.

How I drink it: ice-cold, opened slowly (natural fizz), mid-morning or pre-training. If you’re sensitive to caffeine, give yourself a longer runway before bedtime. And as always, everyone’s biology is different—genes, sleep, stress, and diet all change how you feel. For personalised advice, speak with a qualified professional.
